So, where exactly do you need to add your info? The answer is EVERYTHING that deals about YOU! Below are some of the platforms where you should be adding your details. For social media accounts, ensure that your profile is ACTIVE. By active, it means that your profile is current and at least all the information is updated. Ensure that you're also able to check it at least once daily!
If you're unsure about which platform to really maintain and keep up with your specific market, go search for the demographics on Google. Keeping up with social media is not easy - so it's best to keep up with a platform that you can gain more followers/friends and ultimately, be able to connect based on your interest and your client-base.
So, how do you know if you're doing the right thing? As discussed on the webinar, here are a few of things you should answer or ask yourself so you would understand if you're complying with social media rules. These things also makes it easier for your clients to reach out to you!
As mentioned above, one of the things you should consider for you to be compliant is spelling your title correctly! This is one of the most common mistakes REALTORS® make! FOLLOW the 80/20 Rule when posting your content on social media. REALTORS®, your listings are not always the key ingredient to making those interactions! It's personal stuff that actually makes up the most appealing content for people around you. 80% is all about personal stuff - your local restaurant, your favourite food, your neighborhood, a new book you're reading - the sky's the limit! ONLY 20% of your posts should be attributed to something related to Real Estate.
