You may be the most sought-after REALTOR® in town, but to somebody new to the area or those who don’t know you yet, you're just some regular guy who helps sell and buy houses. With all the competition around, how can you outshine the others? Your goal when somebody looks you up on Facebook or other social media platforms is for them to reach out to you and ultimately get that business, right?
Imagine putting yourself on the client's shoes. I'm sure at one point you became a client or a customer so this is an easy task. So say, your friend referred you this REALTOR® who he worked with before. So, you made a research and it's great because you found a Facebook page for him. Unfortunately you don't know who the guy is which is probably 99% of the time. So, the next thing you'd probably do is check out who he's affiliated with and you notice his page doesn't say so. So, uhm, what's your next step then? People most likely get more than just one referral, so if your profile doesn't appeal them, chances are they're going to take their business to someone who has more known affiliations. So that's one client lost there.
Given that scenario, it is imperative that your Facebook profile should reflect your business or your company name isn't it? Not only that, it should be linked to a company/business that has an updated Facebook page so your client can review how well you're business or company is performing. You’ll certainly attract more clients if they know a little bit more about you. Plus you’re advertising your own business or your company's business at the same time! It’s hitting two birds with one stone.
