REALTORS®! Are you doing things right on your Facebook Business page? Managing your Facebook business page isn't an easy task but you have got to! If you are struggling doing stuff on your Facebook business page, don't worry! You are not the only one. I've had a opportunity to work with a lot of REALTORS® and sadly, one of the biggest challenges is getting the much needed traction in their page. Below I have collected some of the things which can help you better manage your Facebook business page.
1. The Facebook Pages app. This may be the first time you are hearing about this, but there is a Facebook Pages app! What does it do? On your smartphone, you can run your business page seamlessly. It allows you to post directly to your business and at the same time you have the capability to schedule content on-the-go! The best part? It's FREE! Find it on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store by searching for Pages.
2. Post original content. Nothing beats a well-crafted and unique content. If people visits your Facebook page and all they see are your listings, what you have sold, your Open Houses, it looks pretty bland and boring. Mix it up with great original content. If you are listing a house, why not do up a short video about the neighbourhood and what they can actually explore in the area. Video is an awesome marketing tool and if you aren't marketing using videos yet, you should seriously consider it! Make it enticing for your audience and be consistent. Posting original content at least twice a week would be better than nothing!
3. Do Facebook Live. There's nothing more interactive than going LIVE on Facebook! You may think it is a small thing but it can develop into something huge especially if people love your content. Do one every now and then, maybe ask your audience if they have any questions about their real estate needs or some general questions you think you can answer. Plan ahead of time and let them know when you are going to go LIVE or... you can always do it random at times when you think most of your audience are hooked on their phones.
4. Look at your Insights. With all the effort you put through every day, your pat on the back would be to know what is actually working for you and what doesn't. On Facebook, you will find that out if you check your Insights. This will give you an idea of who likes your page, who is engaging to the content you post and it will even let you know what time you should be interacting and posting your awesome content.
