Increase your views in YouTube with these tips! February 14, 2005 is when YouTube started by none other than Google! Yes, if you aren't aware yet, Google owns YouTube which is an important ingredient in maximizing your online visibility. For starters, your listings can use the platform and if you are curating tips via video, you can create your own YouTube channel and add whatever videos you do in there.

Moving forward, this is where I will be posting any new content I am working on. You cannot currently merge YouTube channels so that's one tip for you!
If you are just starting out or if you have been using YouTube for quite sometime now, these tips I am sharing with you aren't new but they may surprise you (if you aren't doing it yet). It is harmless to get these items done every time you upload a video on YouTube so be sure to note it down and get it done the next time!
1. Don't neglect your video's File Name. Yes, how you name your video files can impact your viewership and you appearing in Google search results. It is an important factor! So, the next time you are going to upload files, name it to what the content is actually about instead of naming it Video #1,2,3 and so on. It would be better if the same title matches with the title you are going to use in YouTube. That's also going to make it easier for you to find your own content, isn't it? For example if you are uploading a listing video name it 1234 Main Street, Vancouver, BC V5Y3B2 MLS xxxxxxx.
2. Fill the description with informative text! Your Title may already say a lot of stuff about what your video is all about but most agents miss this important part to fill out the description, a paragraph or two about the video. I would highly recommend that you add your links on your description as well as your contact information. That would make it easier for people to reach out to you in case they need to contact you! I also use a template in my YouTube channel so it would always be in there whenever I upload a video. Check out how you can add this same thing on your page, here's how:
a. Go to your profile image (top-right of the YouTube page)
b. Select Creator Studio
c. Find CHANNEL on the left menu
d. Head on to Upload Defaults
e. Make the changes to the description in there!
3. Sharing is caring! Share your stuff everywhere! If you do blogs, newsletters and of course, don't forget to share it on social media, too! Getting your videos out there can ensure that will have increased views and increasing your traction. Why not pre-do posts for your social media accounts using these videos? Not everyone can see the content that you post each time you do it so getting it out there every so often can still reach people you haven't reached previously.
