The ® symbol right after the word REALTOR® is a distinguished trademark that every REALTOR® needs to comply with. This is to let everyone know about the title difference between a “real estate agent” and a REALTOR®.
A REALTOR® adheres to a strict Code of Ethics which provides protection to the public and other real estate agents.
