Darci has been creating presentations for over a decade and is going to share a few secrets she has learned along the way.

I left a cushy government IT job as a Senior Wireless Analyst in 2007 because I wanted to change the world. I knew I knew a lot of technical stuff because that is all I did since the mid 90's but how could I transform my love of technical stuff, gadgets, software and god forbid, researching software into a job? I also knew that I was different than other techy people in the sense that I actually like other people. LOL. It didn't happen overnight, the first few years I did corporate training on wireless devices and behind the scenes started helping my husband, who is a REALTOR®, with his Social Media, Website, automating systems, well really, you name it, oh and documenting what he does, so eventually we could hand it over to an assistant. I tell you, that was quite the chore but for years I did it and kept saying "Hey Terry, how come you do this thing this way?" I have a better, faster way to do it. Or "Hey Terry, we need to automate your stuff why are you doing this thing manually?". You get it, right? I am sure I was driving him crazy but the numbers spoke. Every single year his numbers increased and his REALTOR® friends would ask, "Hey Terry, how are you doing that?" and he would direct them to me. Initially, I said no as I was busy with corporate stuff and who am I kidding, they paid well. In early 2015 the planets aligned. I had about three things happen around the same few weeks and though to myself DARCI, PAY ATTENTION!
Sooooo to make a long story short, I asked Terry if I could share what I do for him, is it ok? Show some numbers, share some secret sauce, and lots of it, etc? He was on board so I said ok, I will dedicate 6 months to ONLY the Real Estate Industry and see how that shakes out. Well, here I am today. 99% of my clients are in the industry ( I kept a few of my other non Real Estate clients that I love to work with) and contrary to what I thought it would be like, I LOVE IT! I love helping people, I love sharing what I know, I love seeing the looks on their faces that what they thought was impossible can be attainable and really, my satisfaction comes from watching other grow, learn and not be fearful of technology. I can't see it any other way.
